About Sonya Wallace - Think Green Director

Think Green Consultancy was established by Sonya Wallace in 2009 in response to growing interest from governments and communities about Transition Towns and Energy Descent Action Plans.

Following on from the success of Transition Sunshine Coast, Sonya created Think Green Consultancy to bring together the most experienced people in Australia to provide a professional consultancy service to governments and communities.

Sonya brings a wealth of experience to Think Green with an extensive professional career in state and local governments in the areas of; corporate communications, public relations, emergency management, strategic planning and more recently, having established Australia's first Transition Town Initiative and brought together Australia's first Energy Descent Action Plan.

Sonya looks forward to seeing Energy Descent Plans and Transition Towns becoming more accepted as positive and achievable solutions to future climate and energy issues and to being at the very forefront of this innovative and dynamic new industry.
