Think Green Consultancy is based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We are currently working with communities and governments in many parts of Australia and we are also able to offer our support internationally. We bring national expertise to your local area. Energy descent action planning
The term ‘energy descent’ describes a new approach to the way we do things. Energy descent is both: our actions to reduce carbon emissions as a response to climate change and, actively preparing our communities for peak oil by reducing our dependency on fossil fuels. The exciting result is a growing international movement of people working toward resilient, localised, diverse and more vibrant communities. Our vision is for every local government area in Australia to have a community-driven energy descent action plan being delivered by Transition Towns across the region. To help achieve this, Think Green Consultancy provides professional services to state governments, local councils and communities across Australia who are planning for, and working toward sustainability. The successes of energy descent action planning and Transition Town initiatives provide a clear path for building local resilience and pro-actively planning for climate and energy uncertainty in the future.
